OUR MISSION
For 15 years, we have been fighting for greener cities in Romania.
We spend most of our lives in cities, so the “health” of cities is our health too. Green Revolution advocates for rebuilding cities on green principles. This mission must be a priority for both residents and authorities. Ecology means evolution, it means a healthier and happier life for us and future generations.
Green Revolution initiates and implements extensive environmental education projects and constructive dialogue with authorities and stakeholders involved to improve environmental policies and strategies.

Our projects are interconnected and aim to be like a breath of fresh air for those who understand how important it is to keep up with environmental news and to act as decisively as possible towards a more sustainable life.
Urban Mobility
Seeing life through rose-tinted glasses is easy when the city is a little greener. That’s the IVelo effect in urban areas. Over 1.2 million people have used the bikesharing service in 6 cities across Romania. Every year, they cover over 2 million kilometers, contributing to the reduction of approximately 51 tons of CO2.
Environmental Education
Environmental education is one of the most important aspects when it comes to sustainability. And our mission is to encourage and provide them with as many means and opportunities as possible to be informed and to adopt a sustainable lifestyle.
Advocacy
Green Revolution Association has evolved into a platform for dialogue with authorities, aiming to find realistic solutions regarding sustainable development and environmental responsibility. Our current projects, including conferences, Gala, and the Green Report Podcast, successfully contribute to our mission.
